Sowing is from February to April, make sure to sow in well drained pots or trays of seed compost. Sow the seeds one quarter inch deep, and place your containers into a propagator at about 18 to 20 degrees centigrade.

Cocoa Shell Mulch
Cocoa shell mulch, cocoa shells or Sunshine of Africa as it is also known, is becoming increasingly popular with gardeners. It is slightly more expensive than a traditional garden mulch made from bark or but is particularly good for the soil and plants as it contains essential nutrients.
The mulch has a warm chocolate glow to it which contrasts well with foliage when used as a decorative covering on beds and borders. Digging it into the soil over the winter months is also recommended to produce high quality soils in time for the following growing season.
