AB15 2yr Legume Fallow Mixtures – Stewardship Seed Mixes

AB15 2yr Legume Fallow Mixtures provide pollen and nectar for pollinators such as bumblebees, solitary bees and butterflies and add biodiversity to any crop or farmland. Alongside the pollen and nectar supply for pollinators, the mixture provides invertebrate chick food for farmland birds, as well as providing a useful blackgrass break. 

AB15 Two Year Legume Fallow provides further benefit to insects and habitat for a wide range of farmland wildlife. It is recommended that this mixture is mown at least once during its first year before grass weeds begin to seed. This mixture should be retained for 2 years. On dry, light land the perennial ryegrass could be changed to the more drought tolerant cocksfoot grass.
